Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav, known for his remarkable performances, recently shocked his admirers after reports surfaced of him receiving death threats. The 53-year-old actor reportedly received the threats via email, allegedly sent from Pakistan.

In an audio statement to the news agency IANS, Rajpal confirmed that the police and cybercrime department are actively investigating the matter. Speaking about the incident, he said, “It’s not my job to talk about this incident when I don’t know anything about it.” He further explained that he had informed the authorities and had refrained from discussing the issue further. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, Rajpal added, “Whatever needs to be said about this matter, the agencies are capable of providing the information. I have shared the details I was aware of.”
The Baby John actor also took the opportunity to reflect on his role as an entertainer, saying, “I am an actor, and in acting, I try to entertain people of all ages, young and old, through my work. I don’t want to say anything more than this.”

The Amboli Police have registered an FIR under Section 351(3) of the BNS against an unknown individual, with the complaint being filed by Rajpal’s wife. The threatening emails have not only targeted Rajpal Yadav but also included other notable personalities such as choreographer-filmmaker Remo D’Souza and comedians Kapil Sharma and Sugandha Mishra.
According to Free Press Journal, the email sender identified himself as Vishnu, using the address ‘Don99284’. The sender claimed his target was Kapil Sharma due to his show being sponsored by actor Salman Khan. The emails reportedly included an eight-hour ultimatum, warning of “dangerous consequences” if their demands were not met.
The situation has raised serious concerns within Bollywood, with fans and authorities alike hoping for swift action. For now, Rajpal Yadav has chosen to let the investigation unfold, trusting the police to handle the threats professionally.
